Fall is here! That means there will be plenty of opportunities for Trick-or-Treating. This week, I made some resources to help make sure everyone can be included in Trick-or-treating, along with some fun coloring pages for fine motor practice.
Picture Exchange Cards
It can be hard for kids with limited verbal abilities or social anxiety to participate in Halloween. Two of my boys deal with this, every year. I created some picture exchange cards so your child can use pictures to request candy and say “thank you!”
In this video, Maittee, one of our SLPs shows us how to use picture exchange in this way.

Trick-or-Treat Cards
These are another option for Trick-or-Treating. Kids can fill these out and hand them out while they trick or treat.
Coloring Pages
I designed these as an activity for kids with fine motor delays. I used simple pictures and added a guided reading sentence to introduce vocabulary for a speech/language opportunity.
