What is a social story?

A social story is a story that describes social situations and the appropriate ways to act in each situation. Social stories can help reduce anxiety and stress by teaching children what to expect and how to respond.

This week on the blog, I have created a social story about Halloween and I have also included the communication cards and coloring sheets that we have previously posted.
